Experiencing God

God is inviting you to experience Him in an intimate love relationship through which He reveals to you His will, His ways, and His work. Through the biblical principles in this course, God can teach you how to: 1) know when He is speaking to you, 2) recognize His activity around you, 3) adjust your life to Him and His ways, 4) identify what He wants to do through you, and 5) respond to His activity in your life. Disciples Path: The Journey

A one-year intentional plan for discipleship that provides a purposeful process for maturing in Christ. Both new and seasoned disciples will encounter key ideas and practices to help them grow in Christ and as disciple-makers. Sundays at 4:30 p.m. beginning January 15

Disciple’s Prayer Life

Disciple's Prayer Life: Walking in Fellowship with God helps adults learn to pray experientially - based on prayers of the Bible. Through personal, daily study and 13 weekly small-group meetings, you will discover practical truths to strengthen and deepen your prayer life. Sundays at 4:30 p.m. beginning January 15

Sunday School Matters

Training in the skills required to grow a viable Sunday School and bring vibrancy to the church. Features videos from outstanding national leaders and covers topics including leadership, vision, teaching, evangelism, care, and the structuring of this vital component of a healthy church. Sundays at 4:30 p.m. beginning January 15 - for Sunday School leadership only

Your Baptist Identity

Covers who we are as Southern Baptists and how we work together.  A look at the mission and ministries of the local church, the Evangeline Baptist Association, the Louisiana Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention as we cooperate together to fulfill the Great Commission. Sundays at 4:30 p.m. beginning January 15

33 the Series: A Man and His Design

The series is designed to inspire and equip men to pursue authentic manhood as modeled by Jesus Christ in His 33 years on earth. Volume I explores the basic foundations of authentic manhood and God's clear design for men. Each participant will learn the four "faces" of manhood and how to anticipate and transition through the specific seasons of life. Sundays at 4:30 p.m. beginning January 15 - For men only

First Look

First Look examines the history, beliefs, and opportunities for ministry at First Baptist Lafayette. Designed for prospective and new members, this course is a single fast-paced two-hour session offered several times each year. Sunday - January 15 at 5:30 p.m. (a single two hour session)


Have you ever wanted to be able to talk to someone about the Lord but just didn’t have the ability or courage to do it? Let us help you know what to say and how to say it. FAITH Evangelism Training will help you be able to communicate five simple truths about the gospel to anyone, at any time. Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. beginning January 10

Knowing God By Name

Focuses on 35 Hebrew names of God that describe His character, His relationships, and His purpose. As you learn the significance of each ancient word, you’ll be awestruck by the Lord’s magnificence. Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. beginning January 12, and Sundays at 4:30 p.m. beginning January 15 - For  ladies only


Gives concrete truths to combat the lies our old enemy hurls our way. You can stop feeling left out, because even when you are overlooked by others, you are handpicked by God. You can change your tendencies to either fall apart or control the actions of others by adopting healthy ways to process your hurt. Precept: Daniel

Inductive study of the first six chapters of Daniel using the materials by Bible teacher Kay Arthur. Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. beginning January 12

Simply Tell

Bible Drill

Helps children in grades 1- 6 increase their knowledge of the Bible, develop skills in effectively handling the Bible, learn how to apply the Bible to their life, and to begin developing memory skills.  Bible Drill includes fun learning games and activities. Sundays at 6:00 p.m. beginning January 15


Preschoolers will have a lot of fun on Sunday nights with B.L.A.S.T. - Bible Learning and Singing Together. Sundays at 6:00 p.m. beginning January 15
