Through an examination of biblical and contemporary illustrations, participants will understand and apply seven realities of experiencing God. FAITH Evangelism Training

Have you ever wanted to be able to talk to someone about the Lord, but just didn’t have the ability or courage to do it?  If that’s the case then let us help you know what to say and how to say it. Faith Evangelism Training will help you be able to communicate five simple truths about the gospel to anyone at any time. Join with two other people from your Sunday school group and form a FAITH team that will enable you to learn and grow together, and make personal visits to people that want to be a part of our church. FAITH is an evangelism training strategy linked directly to the ongoing work of the Sunday School, with a goal of each team visiting prospects and members of their Sunday School class.
Materials provided—There is no cost for this group.
To learn more about the upcoming FAITH semester, join us for a meal and information on Tuesday, January 15 at 6:00 p.m. Weekly sessions meet on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. beginning January 22.

Jesus Among Secular Gods

Ravi Zacharias and Vince Vitale defend the absolute claims of Christ against modern belief in the "secular gods" of atheism, scientism, relativism, and more. The rise of these secular gods presents the most serious challenge to the absolute claims of Christ since the founding of Christianity itself. The Christian worldview has not only been devalued and dismissed by modern culture, but its believers are openly ridiculed as irrelevant. This study challenges the popular "isms" of the day, skillfully pointing out the fallacies in their claims and presenting compelling evidence for revealed absolute truth as found in Jesus. This book is fresh, insightful, and faces head-on today's most urgent challenges to Christian faith. It will provide Christians with the knowledge to articulate why they believe Jesus stands tall above all other gods.
Book cost $12.00
Begins Sunday, January 20 OR March 10, at 4:30 p.m.

Precept: Luke

The Gospel of Luke is a walk through events in Jesus' life. Watch how the Son of Man, the Savior, enters the homes of the suffering, visits tax collectors, and dines with sinners. Learn from His words, His walk, and His relationships with common people what it really means "to follow Him." Hear what Jesus taught about the kingdom of God and how you, today, can be prepared for the difficult times ahead and to stand before the Son of Man. The Precept Upon Precept studies are inductive Bible studies developed by Kay Arthur of Precept Ministries.
Book cost $44.00
Begins Thursday, January 17, at 9:00 a.m. OR Thursday, January 17, at 6:00 p.m.

Introducing Christian Doctrine

Abridged and less technical than his classic Christian Theology, this book retains Millard Erickson's brilliant expositions on God, humanity, sin, atonement, and other doctrines as well as chapters on postmodernity and contemporizing the gospel. Introducing Christian Doctrine is practical, accessible, and essential for understanding what we believe. This course will be taught in two parts, spring and fall.
Book cost $44.00 each
Begins Sunday, January 20, at 4:30 p.m.
12 sessions - Facilitated by Ray Swift

Christian Living

The Parent Adventure

Parenting problems start when parents raise children based on their personal experiences growing up instead of using the Bible as the timeless, authoritative guide. Although seemingly painful at first, the parental attitude of “letting go” must begin intentionally at birth, keeping in mind that each child’s life is more about knowing God than anything else. With this outlook established, the future-focused mom and dad will move more joyfully through each stage in the adventure of parenting.
Book cost $10.00
Begins Sunday, January 20 OR March 10, at 4:30 p.m.
7 sessions - Facilitated by Barbara Accardo

None Like Him: 10 Ways God Is Different From Us (and Why That’s a Good Thing)

God is self-existent, self-sufficient, eternal, immutable, omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, sovereign, infinite, and incomprehensible.
We're not. And that's a good thing.
Our limitations are by design. We were never meant to be God. But at the root of every sin is our rebellious desire to possess attributes that belong to God alone. Calling us to embrace our limits as a means of glorifying God's limitless power, Jen Wilkin invites women to celebrate the freedom that comes when we rest in letting God be God.

Tell Someone

Greg Laurie shares biblical principles you can apply yourself.
